This is a new one on me! A French Heartworm which has made it to the UK has now appeared in Scotland. Will we be next?

    We were looking after a friend’s young dog this summer in Dublin, which grew quickly ill and died, despite medical care. The autopsy showed a french heartworm infestation. It would appear that warmer, wetter conditions in Ireland are allowing this worm to appear here too.
